Schedule:
- 7:00 am-7:00 pm, day shifts
- 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
- One overnight call (11:00 pm-7:00 am for Trauma); specialty team call per team rules
- Active RN license with at least 2 years Operating Room experience; 3 years Level 1 trauma RN experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
- Comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Experience with surgical specialties:
General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma/joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular desirable - CNOR certification preferred
- Prepare for and circulate/assist in complex surgeries, utilizing specialized equipment like Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and the Intuitive Robot
- Deliver patient-centered care to a varied patient population with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Effectively respond in high-stress, trauma situations and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, and strong teamwork skills
- Maintain compliance with all departmental policies and safety protocols, including proper teal hospital-issued scrub attire
