Maine Health Maine Medical Center Cardiology, Scarborough, is seeking a patient centered, respectful, flexible, and detail-oriented Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join our Structural Heart team in providing programmatic support across the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL). This position will be MMC Portland based with the opportunity for outreach to Scarborough and York Hospital based on need.
Join our team of Advanced Practice Providers and physicians that are dedicated to Structural Heart disease.
The primary responsibility will be to pre‑screen all applicants for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and other advanced cardiac valve procedures to ensure that patients accepted for TAVR and other advanced valve procedures meet the organization's established guidelines for such procedures. This responsibility includes significant collaboration with physicians, cardiac departments, outside medical facilities, patients and their families and other support services.
Minimum Qualifications- Successful completion of accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate (PA) program.
- Two years of ACNP or PA cardiology experience required.
- Not accepting new grads or APP’s new to cardiology, currently.
- Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
