We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our vascular surgery ambulatory practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in wound care or someone interested in developing skills in this area. The nurse will provide hands-on patient care, assist with rooming patients, provide wound care services, perform telephone triage, and perform as a circulator and sterile scrub in our procedure room as part of a collaborative clinical team.
This position offers a full-time schedule during daytime clinical office hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on-call responsibilities. The schedule may be either four days (36 hours) or five days (40 hours) per week. This is an on-site role in Scarborough. Preferred is a candidate who can also cover if needed in our Lewiston location.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse II – Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. BLS certification is not required for positions that are 100% remote. - Experience:
One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.
