Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN Med Surg to work a Medical Surgical Gynecology Floor in Scarborough, Maine.

Assigned to a 10‑hour day shift schedule for 13 weeks starting 08/03/2026, providing high‑quality patient care in an outpatient setting focusing on gynecology and oncology services.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical‑surgical patients on the Gynecology and Oncology floor
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient education and discharge planning
• Participate in fall prevention, pain management, and infection control protocols
• Document care in the facility’s EMR system and follow dress code and facility policies
• Assist in float rotation and provide coverage as required

• Active RN license in the State of Maine
• Minimum one year of experience in medical‑surgical, oncology, or high‑acuity nursing
• Basic certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in gynecology or oncology nursing is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment

Facility has approximately 100 beds. Parking is available on site. The EMR system will be specified by the organization. This assignment is a replacement for permanent staff.
