Summary

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team! You will be working with clients in the Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder field.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and medication maintenance on a scheduled basis to ABH clients in person, in the community or via telemedicine
  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic rapport with client and client’s family
  • Serve as a key member of the client care team
  • Willingly and professionally collaborate with department director, physician medical director, therapists, case managers and nurses
  • Create client care plans and contribute to existing plans
  • Record client medical histories and symptoms
  • Evaluate responses to therapy and medications
  • Evaluate, observe and assess physical and mental health conditions
  • Orders, administers and analyzes diagnostic tests
  • Consults with other healthcare professionals and entities as appropriate on behalf of client
  • Provide client services in a collaborative, respectful and professional manner
  • Provides education to clients on medication, physical health, psychiatric health, nutrition and self-care
  • Completes client documentation on a timely basis
Education
  • Must have a Nurse Practitioner degree or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree.
License
  • Must have New Hampshire License
Experience
  • At least 1 year in the Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder field.
