Quality Control Technician - 2nd shift

Our client, a leader in the medical device and diagnostics industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production and testing of innovative health solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standard of quality, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Scarborough, ME

Pay Range: $28/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform testing of in-process components for Lateral Flow, ELISA, and Molecular products
• Conduct final release testing to ensure product quality and compliance
• Troubleshoot technical and quality issues to identify root causes and implement solutions
• Review batch records and calibrate/maintain laboratory equipment
• Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices (GMP/GLP)

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of laboratory and/or quality control experience
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulations (preferred)
• Ability to perform technical procedures and operate laboratory equipment accurately
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
