Chemist (2nd shift

Location: Scarborough, ME 04074 (On-site)

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on laboratory experience (industry preferred, strong academic lab experience also considered)
• Experience with:
• Laminar flow hoods
• Measurement tools (balances, graduated cylinders, serological pipettes)
• Must be comfortable working in a 2-8°C cold room for 4-6 hours daily (PPE/jackets provided)
• Steel-toe/Safety shoes required

• Pipetting
• Spectrophotometry
• HPLC
• pH meters

• Support and maintain the production schedule
• Perform in-process QC testing, quality inspections, and titrations
• Prepare critical and non-critical bioreagents following SOPs
• Maintain GMP/GLP compliance and quality systems
• Investigate process improvements and implement new procedures safely
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and production goals
  
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications (spreadsheets, databases, manufacturing software)
