Quality Engineer I
Our client, a leader in the healthcare diagnostics industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer I to join their team. As a Quality Engineer I, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting quality assurance, process improvements, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Scarborough, ME
Pay Range: $38/hr- $45/hr
What's the Job?- Support production with resolution of quality issues in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist on the manufacturing floor to ensure adherence to procedures and proper documentation of device history records (DHR).
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain professional behavior with internal and external business associates, reflecting positively on the company and adhering to policies and practices.
- Identify and understand the quality implications of job performance, including awareness of device defects related to design, verification, validation, manufacturing, and testing activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of FDA, cGMPs/QSR, and ISO quality system requirements.
- Proficiency in database, internet, inventory, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Strong technical writing and effective communication skills.
- Ability to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and compliance.
