We're hiring Experienced Quality Engineers for an immediate overnight opportunity with our client in Westbrook. Join a team focused on advancing manufacturing excellence through quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. These positions pay $44 per hour and are anticipated to continue through 2026

This is a high-impact engineering role supporting manufacturing process improvements, risk management activities, and quality/cost savings initiatives while ensuring compliance with cGMP, quality, and safety standards. Ideal for professionals who enjoy working in highly regulated environments and driving continuous improvement across operations.
Typical daily duties:- Support manufacturing process improvements and quality/cost savings initiatives
- Lead and participate in product risk management activities, hazard analyses, and risk assessments
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Evaluate manufacturing non-conformances, complaints, and quality issues to determine risk and corrective actions
- Develop and maintain documentation supporting FDA, ISO, and quality system requirements
- Conduct material testing evaluations and support measurement and validation activities
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement efforts within regulated manufacturing environments
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with database software, CAD software, development software, internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, project management software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with a variety of material testing and measuring methods
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience working in GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulated environments
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as Minitab
- Familiarity with cGMP and ISO 13485 regulations and practices
- Experience supporting risk management, quality systems, or continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment
