Food Service Team Member

Food Service Team Member position at Nouria Energy Corporation, a multi-generational family‑owned convenience store and fuel distributor in New England.

Open availability preferred. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Food Service Team Members are responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the Food Service Station, ensuring increased profitability and growth of the store and meeting customers' needs at every step.

• Prepare all fresh made‑to‑order food items.
• Maintain all self‑service food offerings including coffee, fresh case items, dispensers, fountain machines, and condiment center.
• Load product into fresh case as needed.
• Operate the cash register.
• Provide best‑in‑class customer service.
• Maintain high levels of sanitation.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels for freshness and availability.
• Back stock, fill condiments, supplies, and rotate product by received date.

• Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
• Greet every customer with a smile and sincere greeting.
• Suggest possible purchases to customers and promote specials.
• Assume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria’s customer‑service program at the site level.

• Do what is necessary to minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Ensure all environmental and hazardous‑material regulations are strictly enforced.
• Maintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents that occur.
• Manage the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store.
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Complete the new employee safety orientation procedure.
• Use gloves, hat/visor, and apron.

• General safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Product/production processes.
• Allergen and food‑safety awareness.
• Basic knowledge of products, production processes, and techniques for maximizing production.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to work alone or as a member of a team.
• Awareness of sanitation and hygiene procedures and practices.
• Concern for the safety of self and co‑workers and a responsible attitude.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Ensure physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods standing.
