Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Scarborough, ME, for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, identifying and addressing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining proper inventory of maintenance supplies, responding to work orders in a timely manner, and supporting the team to ensure safe and welcoming spaces for staff and guests alike.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and other general repair skills
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and the ability to identify and address electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Attention to detail, ensuring quality and efficiency in all maintenance tasks
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or technician role is preferred
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work on ladders, and perform tasks that may require manual labor
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus
