Qualifications

• Must hold a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). MVO positions require a Class B CDL.
• If holding an intrastate CDL, applicants must self-certify to their state that they operate or expect to operate in excepted interstate commerce per 49 CFR part 383.71(b)(1)(ii).
• Safe driving record.
• At least two years of unsupervised driving experience with passenger cars or larger vehicles, and at least one year of full-time unsupervised experience (or equivalent) driving a 7‑ton or larger truck, tractor‑trailer, or a 16‑passenger or larger bus.
• Driving experience must have occurred in the U.S., its possessions or territories, or U.S. military installations worldwide.

• Pre‑employment drug screen required.
• Information from previous employers on positive alcohol or drug tests and refusal to be tested within the prior two years will be retrieved from the FMCSA Clearinghouse and requires applicant consent.
• Applicants must be drug‑free.

• Applicants must meet the examination requirements set by the Postal Service.

Starting salary $30.02 per hour paid bi‑weekly.
