Record Center Specialist
Join our team in Scarborough, ME, a vibrant community known for its beautiful landscapes and welcoming atmosphere. As a Record Center Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our storage operations.
ResponsibilitiesKneel, squat, reach, and bend forward frequently throughout shifts.
Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes ranging from 24 lbs. to over 100 lbs.
Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
Operate handheld scanners and climb and balance on ladders.
Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
QualificationsAbility to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
Competence to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.
Proficiency in reading and writing English.
Experience in loading, operating, and moving hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.
Work ScheduleNormal work schedule consists of 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
Additional InformationProtective footwear is required and must meet ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating designated as "Better or Best".
Potential for the position to transition from temporary to permanent.
