Senior Sustainability Manager

On behalf of our client, an internationally active, medium-sized pharmaceutical company in the region of Schaffhausen, we are seeking a Senior Sustainability Manager.

In this key role, you will drive the Group’s sustainability agenda and translate strategic objectives into measurable initiatives across the organisation.

• Develop and drive the group-wide sustainability strategy and roadmap
• Lead sustainability reporting and ESG data management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
• Define, monitor and further develop sustainability targets and KPIs
• Drive initiatives related to carbon reduction, energy efficiency, circularity and responsible sourcing
• Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D and other key functions
• Advise senior management on sustainability-related developments, risks and opportunities
• Coordinate sustainability initiatives across international sites and stakeholders

• University degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience in sustainability / ESG, ideally within an international industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting, GHG accounting and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives
• Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on implementation and measurable results
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
