About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Management Intern to join our Global Product Management team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in portfolio management, sales enablement, technical documentation, and training development within the field of Valve Automation Solutions. Working closely with product managers, sales teams, and engineering experts, you will support a wide range of strategic and operational activities.
From competitor analysis and KPI reporting to technical documentation and training initiatives, you will contribute to projects that have a direct impact on our global product portfolio while developing valuable technical, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Develop and maintain competitor tracking databases, including pricing, product portfolios, features, and market developments.
- Support product managers in organizing and coordinating sales-oriented events such as VAS Expert Calls and Product Tech Talks.
- Create and improve reporting methods to enhance monthly KPI tracking and help harmonize existing dashboards into a standardized reporting framework.
- Assist in data-related projects that support the modernization of technical documentation and product information.
- Coordinate project activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams across product management, sales, engineering, and marketing.
- Support the Global Commercial Lead VAS in developing the next generation of Valve Automation training programs and learning materials.
- Contribute to the development of sales enablement tools that help customers and sales teams better understand and position our products.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in industrial technologies, automation, process engineering, or manufacturing environments.
- Analytical mindset with an affinity for working with data, reporting, and technical information.
- Excellent communication skills in English;
German is considered an advantage. - Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.
