Hybrid:
This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring two days in the office at our Schaumburg, IL location and three days remote per week. The in‑office days are subject to business needs.
The Senior Analyst Corporate Accounting will be a key member of the Corporate Accounting team and be primarily responsible for posting journal entries, performing month‑end close responsibilities, including account analysis of ASC 606 related costs. The role may also assist with other month‑end activities, special projects and ad‑hoc requests.
Primary Responsibilities- Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet analyses.
- Perform month‑end close responsibilities, including account reconciliations.
- Perform accounting research as needed.
- Responsible for accounting areas such as ASC 606 costs to obtain, costs to fulfill, and other key corporate accounting analyses.
- Ensure processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner including the monthly close account analyses.
- Perform tasks in a SOX‑controlled environment.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Actively contribute to various ad‑hoc accounting requests or special projects as necessary.
- Drive continuous improvements in corporate accounting processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- CPA or demonstrated progress towards CPA is preferred.
- 3‑5 years public accounting or public/corporate accounting experience.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering consistent, accurate and reliable work.
- Self‑starter who works well both independently and within a team environment with an attention to detail.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Net Suite experience is a plus.
- Alteryx experience is a plus.
- Ability to sit for extended periods:
The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7‑8 hours a day. - Use of computer and phone systems:
The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
The base pay range for this position is $67,300 – $96,100 / yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined in our benefits document.
