We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in managing U.S. accounting and financial operations. You’ll handle full‑cycle accounting
, financial reporting
, cash flow management
, and audit coordination
, while helping build scalable systems to support our long‑term growth.

This role requires an individual who is detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive — someone who takes ownership of their work and enjoys the challenge of building structure in a growing organization.

• Manage full‑cycle accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, month‑end/year‑end closing).
• Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Coordinate audits and provide clear documentation and explanations.

• Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and manage banking relationships.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial insights.

• Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and local regulations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and process integrity.

• Prepare reporting packages for headquarters in Japan.
• Ensure timely, accurate consolidation data for global reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, data analysis) and Quick Books.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Experience in international or Japanese business environments.
• Knowledge of consolidation and cross‑border financial processes.
• Japanese language ability (a plus, not required).

• Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, Schaumburg, IL).
