Accounting Specialist

Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Location:

Schaumburg, IL

• Handle accounts payable / receivable functions
• Participate in preparation for internal and external financial audits and corporate income taxes
• Assist with cost planning functions, reconcile business expenses, and check cash flows
• Assist administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry
• Ensure accuracy of physical inventory (tools, production materials, etc.)
• Create accounting reports for upper management
• Other duties as assigned

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience
• Accounting experience (including internships, co‑ops, etc.), preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with accounting functions such as accounts payable / receivable, tax preparations, budget and financial analysis, expense reporting, etc.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
• Organizational and time management skills
• Physical requirements:
  
  intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds; lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist; climb stairs; use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist; talk and hear; use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
