We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Accounting Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of our accounting operations. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company’s financial health and ensuring we meet our financial goals.

Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for: 1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. Directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
3. Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
4. Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements.
5. Coordinating activities of external auditors.
6. Creating and monitoring a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.
7. Advising management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning.
8. Overseeing the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities.
9. Implementing operational best practices. 10. Complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have: 1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA) is highly desirable. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience with US GAAP and cost accounting principles.
4. Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
5. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model. 6. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written, and persuasive skills. 7. A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality.
8. Excellent business acumen and understanding of the manufacturing industry.
9. Proficiency in accounting software. 10. A high level of integrity, dependability, and confidentiality.
