Corporate Partnerships & Sponsor ships Manager
Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Corporate Partnerships & Sponsor ships Manager for a nationally recognized professional medical association advancing education and scientific exchange. This is a hybrid, full-time role based in Schaumburg, IL, with occasional travel for meetings and events.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Corporate Partnerships & Sponsor ships Manager drives revenue through sponsorship, advertising, and exhibit sales while serving as a trusted partner to corporate stakeholders. This role manages key industry accounts, supports corporate development strategy, and ensures seamless execution of partner benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow corporate partnerships through sponsorship, advertising, and exhibit sales
- Serve as primary account manager for select industry partners and key stakeholder groups
- Prospect and develop new corporate relationships through outreach and consultative sales
- Coordinate sponsorship fulfillment, reporting, and activation plans to ensure partner value
- Produce sales reports, revenue analysis, and strategic recommendations for leadership
- Support onsite execution of annual meetings and subspecialty events as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in sponsorship sales, advertising sales, corporate partnerships, or consultative sales
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and account management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines with accuracy and autonomy
- Proficiency with databases, reporting tools, and standard business software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-facing presence
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $90,000 + commission, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, holidays, and additional wellness and professional development benefits.
