Senior Project Architect

HOH is seeking a Senior Project Architect, licensed, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, to deliver architectural solutions for both public and private sector clients. This role will lead combined architecture and engineering teams from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client goals, technical standards, budget, and schedule.

Our work spans municipal, transportation, commercial, industrial, and energy sectors, utilizing both traditional and alternative delivery methods. This role plays a key part in delivering innovative and technically sound solutions through close collaboration with our in‑house multidisciplinary team.

• Lead architectural design from concept through execution
• Collaborate directly with clients to define and refine project goals
• Coordinate internal engineering disciplines and specialty consultants
• Manage project deliverables, budgets, and schedules with a focus on quality
• Translate design concepts into clear and accurate construction documents
• Perform code and zoning analysis
• Conduct technical reviews and oversee quality assurance
• Respond to RFIs during bidding and construction
• Lead site visits and field observations
• Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts

• U.S. Licensed Architect. NCARB Certified preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of IBC, NFPDA, ADA, and LEED standards
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Located in the Chicago area and able to be in the Schaumburg office three days a week

Salary range: $90,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
