Civil Engineer - Senior Transportation Project Manager at Chastain & Associates LLC

• Manage client relationships, cultivate new business connections, and collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue.
• Manage PMs on current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor and manage the transportation department's backlog, ensuring accurate tracking, prioritization, and timely resolution to meet operational goals.

• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred)
• Experience: 15+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing/mentoring civil engineering staff
• Location: Schaumburg, IL - Hybrid schedule
• Software skills: Microsoft 365 and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
• Adaptability: excel at adapting to changing project requirements
