What You’ll Do As The Transportation Project ManagerYou will oversee multiple IDOT phase I, II or phase III projects across various offices while managing and tracking the project backlog.
- Manage client relationships, cultivate new business connections, and collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue.
- Manage current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives.
- Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain - Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred) - Experience:
10+ years of experience working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, and managing/mentoring civil engineering staff - Location:
Rockford, IL - Hybrid schedule is available - Software skills:
Microsoft 365, Micro Station/Open Roads and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D beneficial) - Adaptability: able to adapt to changing project requirements
