Audit Manager – Zurich Cover-More
Join Zurich Cover-More, part of the Zurich Insurance Group, to shape a modern, global audit function as we integrate the newly acquired Travel Guard business. The Audit Manager will play a central role in planning and delivering complex audits, defining an interim and target-state audit approach, and bringing strategic insight to an expanding international portfolio.
Responsibilities- Develop and evolve a dynamic, risk-based audit plan for Zurich Cover-More and related Zurich Global Ventures entities.
- Determine audit scope, key risks, and testing approaches, collaborating with the Chief Auditor.
- Deliver high-quality audits on time and within budget, leveraging Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI tools.
- Prepare and deliver clear, impactful audit reports that articulate findings, root causes, business impact, and agreed actions to senior management.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across Zurich Cover-More and Zurich Group.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and experimentation—developing yourself, coaching audit team members, and role‑modeling curiosity and adaptability.
- Support co‑building a leading, future‑focused audit function by applying innovative audit approaches and collaborating across all audit levels and regions.
- 10+ years of Internal Audit, Risk, or Compliance experience in the insurance industry, or 8+ years in insurance business roles with strong exposure to risks and controls.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree; CPA, CIA, CISA, MBA or equivalent an asset.
- Strong knowledge of travel insurance or quick understanding of its unique operational and risk dynamics.
- Deep understanding of Internal Audit Standards, audit methodology, and internal control frameworks, with strong report writing skills.
- Experience operating within complex, fast‑moving, global organizations and navigating varying levels of audit maturity.
- Excellent relationship management, influencing, and stakeholder engagement capabilities across all seniority levels.
- Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to organize teams, prioritize effectively, and coach others to deliver high‑quality audit outcomes.
- Meaningful experience or strong aptitude with new world skills such as Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI‑enabled audit techniques.
- Collaborative, flexible, growth‑oriented mindset with enthusiasm for developing both yourself and others.
- Competitive salary range: $149,500 to $235,000.
