Audit Manager – Zurich Cover‑More

Role OverviewThe Audit Manager will shape a modern, global audit function during Zurich Cover‑More’s pivotal expansion. Working with the newly acquired Travel Guard business, you will plan and deliver complex audits, define audit approaches, and provide strategic insights across regions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a dynamic, risk‑based audit plan for Zurich Cover‑More and related entities.
- Determine audit scope, key risks, and testing approaches with the Chief Auditor.
- Deliver high‑quality audits on time and within budget, leveraging Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI tools.
- Prepare clear, impactful audit reports that articulate findings, root causes, business impact, and agreed actions to senior management.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across Zurich Cover‑More and Zurich Group.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and experimentation—coach audit team members and model curiosity and adaptability.
- Co‑build a future‑focused audit function by applying innovative approaches and supporting collaboration across all audit levels and regions.
- 10+ years of Internal Audit, Risk or Compliance experience in the insurance industry, or 8+ years in insurance business roles with exposure to risks and controls.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent; MBA or equivalent an asset.
- Strong knowledge of travel insurance or rapid understanding of its operational and risk dynamics.
- Deep understanding of Internal Audit Standards, audit methodology and internal control frameworks, with strong report‑writing skills.
- Experience operating within complex, fast‑moving, global organizations and navigating varying levels of audit maturity.
- Excellent relationship management, influencing and stakeholder engagement across all seniority levels.
- Strong project leadership skills, able to organize teams, prioritize effectively, and coach others to deliver high‑quality audit outcomes.
- Experience or aptitude with Data Analytics, IT fundamentals and GenAI‑enabled audit techniques.
- Collaborative, flexible, growth‑oriented mindset with enthusiasm for professional development.

Salary range: $149,500 to $235,000. Additional bonus eligibility. Base pay may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.
