Admixture Technician role at Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg.

Responsibilities
  • Execute all processes in the production of compounded sterile preparations while strictly adhering to USP and department SOPs.
  • Compound sterile medications, including chemotherapeutic agents, under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or physician.
  • Manage patient records, inventory of medications and supplies, and maintain a clean, highly organized clean room.
  • Assist in preparation and compounding of hazardous and non‑hazardous sterile products under supervision.
  • Maintain the cleanroom suite to USP standards and utilize aseptic technique.
  • Document IV admixture preparations, cleanroom monitors, and sterility tests.
  • Prepare and package compounded products for delivery.
  • Ensure cleaning and garbing per USP and department standards.
  • Maintain an ISO‑classified environment through rigorous cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Ensure proper hand hygiene and garbing procedures for sterile, non‑hazardous drug compounding.
  • Perform inventory management and administrative tasks, including documentation with labels, log sheets, and reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert appropriate designee of shortages; check for outdated or soon‑to‑expire pharmaceutical products.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet department and patient needs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience.
  • One year of compounding and/or aseptic processing experience.
  • Hazardous medication compounding/handling experience (preferred).
  • Experience with EPIC, Nucleus, or Pyxis systems (preferred).
  • Illinois pharmacy technician licensure, current and in good standing.
  • Pharmacy technician certification.
  • Knowledge of USP , , and

Compensation: base pay range $17.65–$26.45 per hour, with actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
