Staff orientation will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, with students attending June 2, 2026 - July 8, 2026. All Friday's and June 18 and July 2 are non-attendance days. Staff hours for ESY are 8:15 am - 11:45 am.
Primary Responsibilities- Patient treatment per doctor's prescription: pool therapy, diagnostic observation in classrooms on individual basis when necessary.
- Evaluate and test patients.
- Provide treatment planning for non-professionals and classroom carry over.
- Counsel parents and provide instructions to parents regarding patient's at home treatment.
- Plan for and attend parent conferences.
- Child Study Team meeting, and multidisciplinary staffing as needed.
- Keep records on all students followed in physical therapy and maintain their IEP.
- Provide technical expertise/guidance to non-professional personnel.
- State of Illinois Physical Therapist License
