Receptionist IL – Andretti Indoor Karting & Games
Join the team as a part‑time Receptionist. Experience with family entertainment centers is great, but not required.
Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Position Summary: A Receptionist is responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person, via email, or telephone.
- Answer the telephone within the 2‑ring guideline and follow up on any missed calls.
- Check, respond and disperse any voicemails or messages to appropriate persons.
- Communicate and screen calls for department manager and other management personnel.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access to the reception desk.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing and faxing.
- Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.
- Create and run documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
- Assist with guest recovery and notify the manager to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain knowledge of Andretti brand, product, and policies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and co‑workers.
- Work as a team player to meet guest needs and support other departments.
- Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
- Attend required department and company meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Be aware of facility emergency procedures.
- Perform opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
- Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Positive, upbeat, and sociable attitude throughout the workday.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Salary from $17–$20/hr.
