Zurich North America is seeking a Document Management System (DMS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) - IBM File Net to work at our North America headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The role involves supporting and advising on application development by understanding customer requirements and recommending performance improvements to align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert for IBM File Net P8, including IBM Content Navigator, Case Manager, and Process Engine.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on strategic needs.
- Leverage AI and machine learning for document classification, data extraction, NLP, and auto-tagging.
- Drive initiatives that support IT service excellence and strategic direction.
- Build and maintain relationships with business partners, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
- Demonstrate innovation and expertise in developing methods, techniques, and solutions.
- Understand customer processes and how they fit within business goals.
- Engage with solution architects to review and validate technical designs, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Estimate effort and costs for new application functionalities.
- Perform quality reviews on project deliverables and support documentation of functional specifications.
- Recommend application performance improvements.
- Act as liaison between Business and IT as needed.
- Support business case development, including cost/benefit analysis and risk assessment.
- Assist with implementation, troubleshooting, and training.
- Perform impact analysis of application changes and specify testing criteria.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Marketing, AND
- 7+ years of software product management or development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in developing desktop and web applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 7+ years of experience.
- Experience managing Content Management systems (File Net preferred) and Content Intake solutions with OCR & AI.
- Experience with Content Creation systems like Adobe Experience Manager or Oracle Documaker.
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Java, .NET, and Java frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and vendor management.
- Insurance industry experience, especially in P&C, Claims, or Underwriting, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
Additional details about compensation, benefits, and company culture are provided in the full job posting. The salary range is $113,100 - $185,100, with a 20% short-term incentive bonus.
