Position Overview

The Lead Full Stack eCommerce Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting Composites One’s B2B Ecommerce applications and integrated systems. This role collaborates with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, deliver full-stack development projects, and ensure high-performance applications. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in web development, strong B2B Ecommerce experience, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Architecture:
    Translate functional designs and business goals into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead design efforts for complex, multi-system integrations.
  • Ensure alignment with architectural standards and usability best practices.
  • Full-Stack Development & Technical Delivery:
    Develop front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NextJS/React

    JS.
  • Implement backend logic and APIs using Express

    JS, Node.js, and similar tools.
  • Design and maintain SQL/No

    SQL databases.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services.
  • Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Agile Project & Process Management:
    Lead end-to-end delivery of development projects in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to manage backlogs, estimate work, and deliver on timelines.
  • Conduct QA, testing, and documentation to support software lifecycle needs.
  • Drive process improvements for development efficiency.
  • Collaboration, Mentorship & Continuous Improvement:
    Partner with business teams for deployment, training, and change management.
  • Monitor solution performance and suggest enhancements.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and contribute to the digital roadmap.

Expected Skills And Qualifications

  • 10+ years of web development experience.
  • 8+ years hands-on development in JavaScript.
  • 5+ years experience in B2B Ecommerce environments.
  • 5+ years experience with Big Commerce or similar platforms.
  • 2+ years experience as a lead developer overseeing others.
  • 3+ years experience working with offshore development teams.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React

    JS/NextJS), Node.js, Express

    JS.
  • Proficient with modern SQL and No

    SQL databases.
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and tools like Git Hub, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in Windows environments.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs in Ecommerce applications.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, scalability, and error handling in web-based applications.
  • Exposure to Digital Marketing and customer experience platforms is a plus.

Travel

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. The actual pay will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
