Job Description
We are seeking a Security Engineer to manage and improve our managed security platform, ensure system protection, and maintain a high‑security standard across our global operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement, manage, and enhance managed security platform tools.
- Configure security measures and software to protect systems, including firewalls and encryption.
- Integrate threat intelligence to document and assess security threats.
- Daily review of email security SaaS, cloud‑based email and data, and endpoint protection for potential incidents.
- Prioritize, resolve, and mitigate vulnerabilities with cross‑functional teams.
- Develop company‑wide best practices for IT security and risk mitigation.
- Create global security awareness and training programs.
- Maintain control monitoring based on common security frameworks.
- Coordinate internal and external vulnerability testing.
- Train IT staff on secure infrastructure and Dev Ops best practices.
- Build secure code deployment workflows and validate code.
- Research security enhancements and recommend actions to leadership.
- Stay current on IT trends, regulations, and industry security standards.
- Cultivate a risk‑avoidance culture.
- Manage patch deployment for servers, PCs, and other systems.
- Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Experience translating penetration test results into actionable plans.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- Skill in identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in patch management and timely deployment.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in information security, including identity management, firewalls, security awareness SaaS, and managed security provider engagements.
Preferred
- Certifications such as GCIH, Cloud Security, MDR, GIAC.
- Experience deploying zero‑trust network access products.
Specialist Certifications
- Any GIAC certification above entry level.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is $110,800 – $158,300 USD per year with an annual incentive bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and comprehensive wellness programs. Eligibility details apply.
