Located in Schaumburg, Illinois, PLC is a leading provider of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) software for forensic crime laboratories. Our customers are law enforcement agencies and forensic labs across the United States.

A field support technician handles customer calls and emails, creates tickets, tests and troubleshoots software, and may work with network hosting. Technicians progress to advanced support with crystal reports, database issues (MSSQL, Oracle), MS Word templates, and technical troubleshooting. A project group also involves travel for on‑site implementation.

• Field calls and emails from law enforcement agencies and forensic labs.

• Support on‑site implementation for new customers.

• SQL experience (preferred).

Full‑time, office‑only initially with possibility of hybrid training.

Schedule:

8‑hour shift (7:30‑4:30 or 8:30‑5:30, 1‑hour lunch);
Monday‑Friday, occasional weekends with notice. Travel up to 10% required.
