Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to become a part of our team! A qualified candidate must have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience: drafting complaints, motion practice, court experience, etc. Fields of practice include: commercial litigation, family law, personal injury litigation.
Responsibilities- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Draft complaints, motions, court orders and other pleadings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Appear in court and argue motions
- Assist with Jury and bench trials
- Assist and help to prepare for depositions
- In person court appearances
- Draft appellate briefs
- Previous experience in law
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- At least three years of civil litigation or motion practice experience
