Operations Performance Lead

We are currently seeking an Operations Performance Lead to join the Legal Services Operations Team. This role will report to the Operational Performance Director and is based out of our Schaumburg, IL HQ office. This role will be hybrid and will require you to be in the office 3 days a week.

• Lead, develop, and execute cross‑departmental projects that ensure effective processes, protocols, policies, and controls support the Legal Services function.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and communication of established policies, procedures, and operating standards; monitor activities to identify potential risks and non‑compliance issues.
• Guide the development, implementation, and institutionalization of best practices around execution and change management.
• Provide methodologies and tools to sponsors and team members to support initiatives and institutionalize processes and documentation.
• Take a holistic approach to identify business improvement opportunities, develop solutions, manage initiatives, and identify required resources.
• Work with management to drive continuous improvement in operational performance through creative problem solving.
• Ensure appropriate management practices are effectively utilized throughout the life cycle to improve execution and delivery of results.
• Provide departmental operational support driven by the Legal Services strategic objectives and goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations, or Risk and Governance.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations, or Risk and Governance.
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations, or Risk and Governance.
• Experience in strategic and operational consulting.
• Project management experience.

• Project Management Certification (PMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In‑depth, analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Management/general consultancy experience.
• Proficiency in using process mapping software.

Salary Range: $ – $ (national average; may vary by location). Short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
