Description
The Outcome Specialist works directly researching and contacting former students and their employers to verify the former student’s employment. They are also responsible for documenting students that had to withdraw due to medical, military, incarceration, or death. The Outcome Specialist works with the Associate Director of Outcome Compliance and Director of Academic and Outcome Compliance to ensure the completion and placement numbers reported to various regulatory agencies are accurate and prepared.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Contact former students via phone, e‑mail, and text messages to gather completion or placement attestations as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments in an effort to drive student outcomes including re‑entry, data collection, etc.
- Engage in research with the Associate Director to find where former students of the online and residential campuses are employed:
This includes utilizing third‑party vendors, Facebook, general Google searches, etc. - Assist the Associate Director in maintaining the process of tracking former students and their employment
- Upload required completion and placement documents into Campus Nexus
- Run reports from Campus Nexus as needed
- Audit select student files to ensure appropriate attestations or documents are uploaded to Campus Nexus
- Assist/support campuses with Outcome Compliance inquiries
- Work with others in Compliance on special assigned projects
- May assist in the preparation of completion and placement reports for regulatory agencies
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in working in higher education
- Sales, or experience in cold‑calling individuals
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
- Possess high ethical standards
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while ensuring excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Possess above‑average computer literacy skills
- Campus Nexus/Campus Vue experience is a bonus
- Sitting for long periods of time; up to 8 hours of computer work daily
- Carrying papers and materials; up to 20 pounds
- Attend mandatory meetings and training for 2‑hour duration
- Able to read computer screen and maneuver between applications

The expected annual salary range for this position is between $45,000 - $50,000
. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
