Apply as a Full‑Time Barista in the Hotel Lobby Market at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, managed by Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions.
Position PurposeTake orders and make coffee, tea, and other drinks to customer specifications while maintaining Starbucks standards of quality and service.
Essential Functions- Prepare Starbucks beverages consistently for all customers.
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
- Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
- Comply with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, cash drawer, and house bank management.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, count total bank, prepare cash drops, and total all other charges.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, and communicate with guests, resolving any guest satisfaction issues.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours in a workstation.
- Ability to multi‑task and self‑motivate during slow periods.
