We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can get the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits and support your Store Manager in daily operations while meeting sales targets.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, leveraging product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Step in and support leadership when needed, helping run the store when the Manager is unavailable.
• Understand the store sales plan and comp sales goals, driving sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, including opening and closing duties.
• Work the register: process sales transactions, drive add‑on sales, close out register, and communicate shortages or overages to Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes, store mapping, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Ensure compliance with store policies regarding theft prevention.
• Maintain stock room organization and store tidiness.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates.
• Perform other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.

• Previous retail experience; passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach for merchandise, use a ladder or step stool, and move boxes up to 50 pounds.

$15.50 – $17.85 per hour. Pay range may vary based on location, education, and experience.
