Mechanic – Collision Shop

The mechanic in the collision shop performs any and all general maintenance required to repair vehicles assigned for repairs, including:

• Diagnostic & Electrical Repairs
• Mounting, Balancing, and Alignment
• Suspension Work (overhaul suspension if needed)
• Airbag Checks and Replacement

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Inspect and identify equipment/vehicles in need of repair.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plan repair work using equipment manuals, following OEM specifications.
• Perform general repairs, diagnostic/electrical repairs, mount/balance/alignment, suspension, and airbag work.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and buildings as assigned.
• Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities.
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification and prior training, or new graduate with some training.
• Related experience preferred.
• On‑job training can be offered in some opportunities.

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior workers.
• Knowledge of general repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Diagnostic & electrical repairs.
• Mount, balance, & alignment.
• Suspension work and overhaul of suspension if needed.
• Airbag checks and repair/replacement of airbags.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Pay: $50,000 - $150,000 a year. This is a commission based position.
