Developer, Software Engineer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Schaumburg, IL
. You will lead development and optimization of PBM core functions, ensuring robust adjudication and pricing processes.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements, collaborating with business and capability teams to refine them.
• Lead development and optimization of PBM core functions, including adjudication, pricing, accumulators, and MED D Pricing.
• Perform hands‑on coding and guide the team in CA/2E (Synon), COBOL AS400, and related technologies.
• Identify opportunities to fine‑tune and optimize applications, ensuring robust and efficient solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and lead teams in an onshore/offshore model.
• Coordinate with clients for requirement clarification and solution discussions, contributing to technology roadmap planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of hands‑on coding experience in CA/2E (Synon) and 8+ years in COBOL AS400/ILE.
• Strong functional knowledge of core PBM functions, including adjudication, pricing, accumulators, MED D Pricing, and benefit plan regulations.
• Expertise in AS400 mid‑range systems, DB2400, and experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment with onshore/offshore coordination.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
