This is a Sales/Business Development role! You must have at least 7+ years of proven client development and management experience where you have demonstrated your capabilities to service an existing client base while driving growth in your business territory through sourcing and securing new clients and business opportunities. In this position you will be responsible for developing long‑term relationships with customers, key business executives, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have great relationship management skills, business development expertise and strategy experience, with a result‑oriented approach to addressing client needs.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing and executing an annual territory plan to grow both existing accounts and new business with the goal of meeting and striving to exceed assigned quarterly and annual bookings targets.
  • Able to expand business with existing accounts and lead new accounts you bring in.
  • Adept at understanding client needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Deliver insightful and strategic sales presentations/proposals, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills, and pulling in the appropriate company expertise where needed.
  • Develop and maintain strategic, trusted advisor relationships with clients at all levels in their organization.
  • Partner with Research & Client Services on smooth internal transitions to deliver great service, drive repeat buying of our solutions, and allow clients to realize the benefit of our technology and research solutions.
  • Work collaboratively and seamlessly with internal teams to create great client and associate experiences
  • Provide leadership with timely reporting regarding business forecasts, sales pipeline, and opportunity analysis.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 7+ years of related industry experience and success selling/delivering research solutions to consumer insights & marketing functions.
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive (yet attainable) sales targets (7+ years for Director level and above).
  • Must have experience in selling market research and technology solutions.
  • Self‑motivated with a proven ability to drive business to a successful close developing returning and reoccurring client and business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in all aspects of the project process, including proposal development, investment guidance, research design, analysis, and formal presentation directly to senior client teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal partners and external clients.
  • Excellent active listening skills with the ability to identify problems and determine the appropriate creative paths to resolution.

Requirement – proven sales background representing a Market Research Agency is highly preferred.
