OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction
, specializing in ground-up data center projects
. This role is a key field leadership position responsible for managing all onsite construction activities and ensuring successful delivery of large-scale, technically complex projects. This position requires full-time travel nationwide to project sites.
- Lead and oversee all onsite construction activities from mobilization through final turnover.
- Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractor activities, and site logistics to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Manage installation of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and specialized data center equipment.
- Enforce strict compliance with OSHA standards and company-specific safety protocols.
- Conduct daily planning meetings, monitor progress, and resolve field-related issues in real time.
- Work closely with Project Managers to maintain project schedule, manage changes, and ensure cost control.
- Mentor and support Assistant Superintendents and field staff to develop strong site leadership.
- Serve as the primary onsite authority representing the General Contractor.
- 10+ years of field leadership experience in large-scale commercial construction
. - Minimum of 2 completed ground-up data center projects
. - Deep technical knowledge of MEP systems, generators, UPS, switch gear, BMS, and cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH).
- Proven ability to manage subcontractor coordination and maintain accountability for schedule and quality.
- Strong familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, BIM 360).
- Current OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications.
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide.
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent build zones or fast-track project schedules.
- Prior background with Commercial GC organizations delivering mission-critical projects.
