The Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a Tier II Teaching Assistant to support students and teachers at Pashley Elementary School.

Position Details

• Position: Teaching Assistant – Tier II
• Salary Range: $19.74/hr — $21.29/hr
• Location: Pashley Elementary School
• Hours: 6.5 hours per day
• Schedule: School year

Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant will work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support student learning and provide assistance with classroom activities. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing instructional and classroom support to students.
• Assisting students with academic and behavioral needs.
• Supporting individual and small-group activities.
• Reinforcing lessons and directions provided by the classroom teacher.
• Assisting with classroom organization and daily routines.
• Maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the building administration.

Qualifications

• NYS Teaching Assistant Certificate Required or willingness to obtain
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
