* ** What's the Job?*
* + Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings from sketches, layouts, specifications, and engineering instructions.

+ Support engineering projects by incorporating design revisions, updates, and modifications into existing drawings and models.

+ Work closely with engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.

+ Apply drafting standards, procedures, and best practices to produce high-quality technical documentation.

+ Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

+ Assist in maintaining engineering records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Communicate effectively with team members to understand project objectives, priorities, and deadlines.

** What's Needed?*
* + Associate Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field; OR completion of a vocational/technical drafting program with relevant experience.

+ Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Creo, Inventor, NX, or similar platforms.

+ Experience creating, modifying, or maintaining technical drawings and engineering documentation.

+ Working knowledge of drafting principles, engineering drawings, and design standards.

+ Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and receive direction from engineers and project leaders.

+ Must be comfortable working onsite in Schenectady, NY.
