As a Lead Engineer in GE Vernova's Engineering & Design team, you will drive end-to-end technical execution of complex energy and grid projects that enable the global energy transition. You will architect and validate solutions for low-carbon power generation, grid modernization, and electrification, leading multidisciplinary engineers through requirements, detailed design, analysis, and reviews. Partnering closely with digital, product, and field teams, you'll ensure safe, standards-compliant designs that perform reliably in demanding environments.
This role offers high impact, technical depth, and global collaboration on mission-critical energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of complex energy and grid engineering projects.
- Architect technical solutions for low-carbon power generation, grid modernization, and electrification.
- Perform and review system studies, simulations, and detailed engineering calculations.
- Guide multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical direction and mentoring.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with product, digital, and field teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.
- Drive design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and present technical solutions.
- Support testing, commissioning, and issue resolution for deployed systems.
- Document designs, technical decisions, and lessons learned for global reuse.
