Job Description:
Within GE Vernova Wind's Project Management organization, support is required in four critical areas. Each area will be staffed by a respective intern. The phases and specific job descriptions are noted below.
Execution Phase (Construction & Procurement) This is the "boots on the ground" phase where schedules are tight and logistics are critical.
1/ Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator Intern:
Wind turbine components (blades, towers, nacelles) are massive and require specialized transport. You would help track the delivery schedule of these components to the site to ensure they align with the construction crew's availability.
2/ Subcontractor Management Intern: A wind farm involves many contractors (civil, electrical, installation). You would assist the Project Manager in reviewing daily field reports, tracking hours worked, and ensuring that contractors are following the project's safety and quality protocols.
Project Closeout & Handover This phase is critical for moving a project from "construction mode" to "long-term operations."
3/ Quality Assurance (QA) Documentation Intern:
Responsible for compiling the "as-built" documentation package. This involves reviewing receiving documents, results, certification documents, and commissioning reports to hand over a completed, compliant asset to the owner or operator.
4/ Punch List Coordinator:
Helps identify, track, and close out "punch list" items—the small defects or unfinished tasks remaining after the major construction is complete—ensuring the project is fully finished before the final payment milestones are reached.
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Students must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program from an accredited university.
- Eligible Majors:
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related.

- Preferred GPA of 3.2/4.0 overall or higher.
- You have a passion for the wind energy industry, engineering, and dedication to a career in technology
- You have proven scholastic achievements, proactive leadership skills, and prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
- You are a highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive individual who is flexible in changing environments and brings
- The ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agility
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment
EMPLOYMENT DATES:
- May 2027 to August 2027 (Summer)
The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
