Clinician, Day Treatment

Social Workers and Mental Health Professionals with Limited Permit are eligible for $2500 retention bonus!

Licensed Social Workers & Mental Health Professionals are eligible for a $7500 retention bonus!

Position Summary This position is responsible for providing clinical services to all Day Treatment clients and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strengths-based, individualized, and comprehensive according to need. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Employees are expected to be awake and alert while working.

  • Assess individual and family situations with a focus on school success.
  • Identify problem areas, treatment goals, and methods to attain goals leading to improved performance at school.
  • Assist school personnel when behavioral situations occur involving students on your caseload.
  • Work with the education team and local school district to develop a comprehensive Individual Education Plan and to monitor the ongoing progress of the child and family.
  • Provide therapeutic services to children and families using differential modalities.
  • Work with an interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and to monitor the ongoing progress of the child and family.
  • Work with referring and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
  • Record and maintain case records in accordance with agency OMH, DOE, and other state mandates.
  • Participate in intake assessments as assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Requires a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Certification/Licensure Clinical licensure is preferred; a Limited Permit is required.
