A leading healthcare company is hiring a Senior Project Manager (Medical Communications) to support Medical Communications and Medical Education programs for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. This remote temp role involves managing complex projects, supporting product launches, and coordinating cross-functional teams. Senior Project Manager (Medical Communications) Responsibilities:- Oversee Medical Education and Medical Communications initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate activities related to pharmaceutical product launches, including planning, content approval, and execution.
- Collaborate with Scientific, Medical, Editorial, and Account teams to streamline medical content workflows.
- Create and manage detailed project plans for advisory boards, speaker programs, symposia, congress activities, and educational campaigns.
- Track project dependencies, resource needs, and critical milestones across multiple projects, providing schedule flexibility during high-demand periods.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical communications agencies.
- 3-4+ years of direct experience supporting Medical Education or Medical Communications teams.
- Proven track record in supporting pharmaceutical or biotech product launches.
- Strong knowledge of medical content development and collaboration with scientific and creative teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends during critical periods.
