Essential Job Functions:

* Sets up the dishwashing area with racks, chemicals, supplies and carts

* Scrapes food from dirty dishes

* Places tableware in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine

* Washes pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and equipment

* Sweeps and mops kitchen floors

* Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen or beverage areas as needed

* Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers

* Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans

* Maintains the can wash area on loading dock in sanitary and neat condition

* Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

* Organizes china, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment and utensils and supplies

* Follows sanitation and safety guidelines

* Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years or older

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Six months or more related experience or training preferred

* Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

* Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk

* Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds

* Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel

* Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor

* Exposure to high noise level
