Retensa’s Technology Interns will work in a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment to assist in the design, architecture, and deployment of cloud-based Software as a Service applications, new websites and mobile application programs. While gaining true hands‑on experience, you will engage in real-world cross‑functional technology problem solving from the ground up. In addition, the internship provides insight on innovative solutions to help us respond to changing markets with speed and flexibility.

This is not a filing and copying internship.

The internship is for focused individuals with existing software skills desiring real‑world experience to expand your knowledge and develop your career in a short period of time.

Candidates should be hard working, enthusiastic, and resourceful Seniors or Graduate students in CS, CIS, Web Tech, IT, or MIS. Candidates must have experience in any THREE of the following:

• 1) Web app development
• 2) Application Testing
• 3) UI/UX
• 4) Delivering SaaS Products
• 5) Amazon Cloud (AWS)
• 6) Software Documentation
• 7) Agile Methodologies (JIRA)
• 8) HTML, CSS and Java Script
• 9) Mobile app development

Required:

Strict Minimum 3.0 GPA. Prior web technology skills of any kind are required. Automation testing experience is preferred.

• Support Product Specialists on R&D research and feature requirement gathering by conducting market research and analyzing competitive products to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide testing support in staging and production environments.
• Update software documentations; design product mock‑ups.
• Frontend development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Engage with software users by providing customer support.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including developers and QA, to ensure product delivery meets expectations.

The ideal software management systems intern applicant should be proficient in English and possess good written and verbal communication skills. This person should be a strong team player with a positive attitude. Apply now if you are motivated, focused, and ready to learn by doing.

Minimum 24‑32 hours/week;
Days/Week: 3‑4.

A stipend of up to $1,000 will be provided upon completion of the internship.

This is a remote stipend internship for approximately fourteen weeks. High‑performing individuals have received a job offer for a paid position post‑completion of their internship.
