Quant Sales Specialist – Alternative Data | Fully Remote (US/ UK Preferred)

Are you an experienced data salesperson with a deep understanding of Quant Hedge Funds?

Do you understand how quants process data and generate alpha from it?

We’re partnering with a high-growth alternative data start-up that’s helping investors uncover market-moving trends before they happen. Their platform delivers high-frequency insights on company performance using proprietary datasets sourced from both B2B and B2C activity.

The team has seen strong success across the investor vertical and is now looking for someone to expand their presence in the quant space by driving new logo acquisition.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Knows how quants evaluate data and generate alpha
• Can speak their language and sell directly into quant funds

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the go-to-market motion for quant clients – from first outreach to onboarding and ongoing growth.
• Lead high-touch evaluation and testing cycles with quant hedge funds and systematic teams.
• Act as the commercial bridge between clients and product, helping shape a roadmap that meets quant use cases and delivery standards.
• Translate feedback from technical stakeholders into actionable improvements.
• Support the evolution of a quant-ready product offering that aligns with client workflows.
• Represent the company at relevant events, conferences, and forums.

Required Experience:

• Experience selling data into quant funds.
• Deep familiarity with how quants digest data – including structure, signal extraction, integration, and onboarding.
• Product-minded, hands-on, and motivated by shaping something in a fast-growing environment.
• Rapidly scaling start-up with strong product-market fit.
• Join a strong commercial team, with deep domain knowledge.
• Fully remote setup with team members across 5 continents.
• High ownership role with direct impact on growth and product strategy.
